My son just turned 8 and on his birthday had to go in for an emergency appointment to repair his pallet expander that had came loose. He was very upset especially having this happen on his birthday. The staff was so great calming him down and gave him a special birthday balloon and pencils :) We even got a call the next day to see how he was doing!!
